Or something like that…

My schedule was thrown off a little bit last week due to Christmas laziness, and I know at least one person who was annoyed when there wasn’t an update on the 26th. So to make up for that, this first strip of the new year is a double-length special!

I hope Christmas treated you well, and that 2013 looks after you sufficiently. That last sentence is the reason I don’t write many greetings cards. Happy New Year all!

Universally Challenged

For anyone who’s lost track of everything that’s happened so far (and who could blame you?), remember that THIS Dick Daring is the Dick Daring from the same dimension as Mervin (referred to as Universe 1), NOT the Dick Daring from the dimension we’ve returned to (Universe 2).

This Dick is fat because he thought he saw Mechanistro die when the Rhombeus exploded and the League of Universe 1 was destroyed. In turn, Dick lost the focus of his hatred and with it, his reason to exist. In reality, Mechanistro travelled back in time, creating a new timeline (Universe 2) which he returned to and has called home ever since.

Actually, that probably made things worse…
